This background scenery came well wrapped in a giant plastic bag that seals closed and in a heavy cardboard outer shipping sleeve.The cardboard used for the actual scenery is of a nice quality as is the picture of the scenery. Stands up nice when setup. Would be twice as nice if the picture were an actual photo of a real scenery (not drawn & watercolored like this) & blown up in a large scale like AG's sceneries(which AG's cost less & are actual real backgrounds), but I would still recommend purchasing these sceneries; especially for young girls. For an adult that collects and does stages/photo shoots with dolls, I think a more realistic photo on this scale would look nicer and more realistic used as the background scenery while posing the dolls etc...
